Kayla Trains With Director Tom Logan for Advanced Students
Kayla had the opportunity to train with Director Tom Logan (www.TomLogan.com) who was in town from Hollywood to teach the accomplishd talent of Pastorini-Bosby Talent Agency (www.PBTalent.com). Tom has hosted auditions of tens of thousands of actors and compiled statistics that afford actors the benefit of his knowledge-base. This 3-day course for kids allowed the children to interact with other professional child actors, see for themselves the difference his techniques make on camera, and a tutorial on what colors to wear, what to say on the slate (the #1 most important thing on the audition), and how to be interesting on camera to include where to stand, how the audience views the screen, and how they respond to on-camera reactions to dialogue.
Tom has written two recent books now available on Amazon, “How to Eat and Act at the Same Time” and “Acting in the Million Dollar Minute“.

Kayla Featured in “In Search of the American Dream”
Kayla has been featured on Telemundo, Univision and in the media for her first feature film “In Search of the American Dream”, where she plays “Monica” a young girl who must deal with her immigration status with her family. This film is timely and based on the reality of many who face their own naturalization status. The film is set for its first premier in Las Vegas in Januray of 2012.
